Change
It's your father's company. And not your father's company.
As CEO of Morrison Industrial, if you happen to find Dick Morrison in his executive office, it will most likely be on the other side of the desk, positioned closer to the center of the room rather than in the big chair that was once his father's. It is almost strange to see him at this unexpected place, with a full load of paperwork in front of him, as if he didn't care to get too comfortable behind the desk's formidable wood frame. For a man who encourages creativity, different perspectives, and strives to share viewpoints by eliminating barriers,
it's all about change.
"I feel I was well-suited for change. Change has always proven good for our company".
Initiating positive change comes from experience he has honed in the parenting of 3 children "all successful in school and life". Dick considers family as one of life's top priorities. In the same sense, being the patriarch of the Morrison Industrial family requires a culmination of talents. Talents derived from the cultivating nature of a master gardener and the aesthetic vision of an artist.
