Golf Cart Built for Work
The Columbia Utilitruck is a purpose-built electric utility vehicle designed as a rugged, highly configurable alternative to standard golf carts for commercial fleets.
The Utilitruck is divided into two primary configurations based on street legality and speed:
- Standard Utilitruck: Built primarily for off-road or facility use, reaching a maximum forward speed of 19 MPH.
- Utilitruck LSV: A street-legal Low-Speed Vehicle capable of 25 MPH, authorized for roads with posted speed limits up to 35 MPH.
Both models offer an electric range of up to 40 miles per charge, depending on load, driving style, and battery selection.
Features
- Power: 19 HP AC-powered electric drive system fueled by eight 6-volt deep-cycle batteries (232 amp-hour capacity) and an on-board global 110-240 VAC smart charger.
- Chassis: Electrostatically powder-coated, high-strength steel channel rail “ladder-style” frame.
- Steering: Adaptive electric power steering with a 3-position adjustable steering wheel.
- Brakes: 4-wheel hydraulic brakes (front discs, rear drums) and an automatic parking brake.
- Suspension: Double A-arm independent coil-spring system in the front and a trailing link with a Panhard bar in the rear.
- Body & Seating: The front body panel uses impact-resistant Rhino-Tuff™ molded polymer, while the mid and rear sections are aluminum. Standard configuration seats two passengers on marine-grade vinyl seats, but it can expand to four passengers with an optional second row.
